Beach Hair
Since I'm going to Firefly Music Festival in a couple days, I wanted to get a hair product that let could let me style my hair without any hot tools.
I bought John Masters Organics' Sea Salt Spray for a pricey $22 bucks. Ridiculous price, I know, but I rarely buy fancy products for my hair. After reading the ingredients: sea salt, lavender oil and water; I thought to myself how easy it must be to make a similar product for a fraction of the price.
All you need is sea salt, vitamin e oil, hair gel, coconut oil and warm water.
Combine 3/4 cups of salt, 2-3 drops of vitamin-e oil, 2 squirts of hair gel and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil into 1 cup of warm/hot water. Stir until everything is dissolved. Rub in hands, then scrunch into damp, untreated hair.
